I'm a 2023 Bride and I am sharing what it's like to get married at an all inclusive venue.

In the previous post, I listed five things that were included in my all inclusive venue that surprised me.

Let's kick off part two with open bar.

I was really surprised about this and really happy about this. This was a priority for my fiancé and I, we like to have a good time and so do our friends and family. We thought that an open bar would be the perfect ingredient for having our friends and family have a great time. We also wanted to not have people worry about cash and money when they were coming to our wedding if they were traveling especially so this was really important for us to have an open bar.

Second is is dinner.

One of the things that could take up a lot of time is food. We are foodies. We love delicious savory food and we did not want to spend a bunch of time sorting through all these vendors and caterers to find the right ones/ ones that were approved by our venue. We had two choices: a plated dinner or a buffet. Both are included with the venue. We did a tasting and it was amazing.

Third, we have cake.

Yes, the cake. I’ve seen so many hacks on vital TikTok about going to Costco getting a fake cake and only having one slice that you cut and then giving everybody a Safeway or grocery store cake. I really wanted to try those hacks, but out cake was included. We got to have a really beautiful cake tasting experience and try some unexpected flavors. We also got to customize what we wanted the cake to look like. Our bakery was so nice. The only thing we need to decide is a cake topper which I haven't put a nail in just yet. But coming soon.

This fourth item is tables and chairs.

I'm very excited about this and for the simplest reason. Most venues don't come with tables and chairs. To me, that's really annoying. If you are renting me a space, you should give me tables and chairs or at least offer that as an add on — but it should be included. I feel like it's silly to think that I'm going to have a party or an event here and not be able to sit down unless I pay extra money. We did get two choices of chairs.

The fifth and last item is linens and cutlery.

Similarly to the tables and chairs, linens and colors should be included. Linens should be included with the venue and the tables and chairs. And cutlery should maybe be included with your venue or you could work something out with your caterer. This is kind of silly like I should not be able to eat my meal because I forgot to get cutlery. It's something so small that can be easily overlooked and has an impact on your experience. It could possibly ruin your meal if you have subpar quality of cutlery. So very excited that I don't have to source vendors for cutlery for my venue.

Hopefully, this is helpful or if you are contemplating an all inclusive venue, ask me a question and I'll do my best to answer it.
