Many of you may know I am engaged and married in 2023. While we were searching for wedding venues, we looked at all inclusive venues versus not and we knew all inclusive was the way to go. While what is included in all-inclusive venues can be confusion, I’ve decided to share what it's like to get married at an all inclusive venue and what is included in our all inclusive venue.
First is the invitations.
I knew that invitations could be a place where I spent a lot of money, especially because I wanted high quality invitations, you want something that looks really nice. And I was very pleasantly surprised to see the variety of selection I had and the actual quality of the invitation I received was amazing. I can't wait for my guests to get them we are just sending them out. And I'm in love with them.
Second is the officiant.
I've done my research and I've seen that the officiant is really important to having a successful ceremony. The officiant manages the flow of the wedding, how personal your ceremony is, and how entertained your guests are. Keeping all of this in mind, we knew choosing the right person to officiate our wedding was of the utmost importance. We wanted to make sure we could trust of officiant to be the perfect master of ceremony.
Third is the flowers.
This was a big selling point for me. I know that flowers are a place where you can spend a lot of money really fast on not a lot. So I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that flowers are included. I don't think it's everything all the florals that I'll need for my wedding. But it will definitely take a big chunk out of the budget that we would have needed for our flowers. I first wanted candles instead of flowers. But our ceremony space does not allow for an open flame and I'm not sure I'm in love with LED lights. So I'm going to lean in and get some beautiful flower in as far as centerpieces and for the bridal party. Very excited about that.
Fourth is the ceremony and reception are in the same location.
I've been to weddings in the password that's not the case. And unless you have a unique way for your guests to travel, this could be a problem for older people and for people unfamiliar with the area. So I was really happy to see that my reception and ceremony space for only feet away from each other.
Fifth is the complimentary hotel blocks
Sourcing hotels, contacting managers and getting hotels blocks for your guests can be really complicated. You have to pay attention to the distance in relation to the ceremony and you have to look at the quality of the hotels. There companies who can do this for you, but I was happy to see that my venue’s preferred partner handled it for me.
I have more to share of things that are included in our all inclusive so stay tuned for part 2...
